HOW DO I HANDLE THE MESS I AM IN?

Someone wrote to me and shared with me about the terrible mess, as that person calls it, that their life is in at present and asked me:
“How do I handle the mess that I am in?”
I want to start by saying, that you must continue praying and let our Lord understand in all honesty, that you do want Him to guide you towards resolving the mess.
Begin by doing the following:
Stop worrying about things which you have no control over. I mean, what are you worrying about and what has it help you thus far? Apart from playing with your health and removing your peace of mind. Stop wasting your energy on something so unworthy of the effort.
Change what you can change in your situation and leave the matter, which you cannot do anything positive about, to our Lord.
MATT 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
MATT 6:27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
What Jesus is saying here is:
If our Lord looks after the birds so well, how much more will He look after us, because Jesus gave His life on the cross for us.
So what you and I must do is the following:
1 PETER 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Can you remember what the reverse side of a tapestry looks like? If you look at the reverse side, look at the knots and threads, to put it bluntly – it looks chaotic, but actually the word ‘mess’ comes to mind.
Turn the tapestry around and you see the lovely craftsmanship.
You see, our Lord who cannot lie, had the following written in His Word for us:
1 COR 13:12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known
Eventually, whatever happens to us here on earth, we have the glorious knowledge:
1 JOHN 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
Now in summary of what I have just written to you:
Stop now with your worrying, it does not help you in any way.
Through prayer, under the guidance of our Lord’s Holy Spirit, do what you are instructed to do and leave what you cannot accomplish, with our Lord, I mean – leave it alone. In other words, do not continually take it away from our Lord and struggle with it and then give it back to our Lord. Follow this advice. Do this in belief and believe in the glory, when our Lord and His craftsmanship in your life, will turn your life around.
Greetings,
Sakkie
