BABIES WHO WANT TO LIVE, ARE LEGALLY MURDERED

Sakkie Parsons

I read a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama in America.

The words that made me think were the following:

“Too soft to place a killer in a well-deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby before he leaves the womb.”

Then I thought about how this is true all over the world, and in South Africa it is no different.

Murderers may live, but babies who want to live are legally murdered.

According to the law, we may murder babies before they are born, but murderers are placed in prison—and most of those who do not escape eventually get parole… to kill again.

It is enough to make one cry out aloud with John:

Revelation 22:20 (AMP):
He who testifies and affirms these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Finally, something else for you to consider, which I’ve mentioned in another writing as well:
Humanity searches for answers to AIDS and many other problems. Christians pray for solutions to these and all the other issues in the world.

I sometimes wonder how many people—with the answers our Lord had created and sent in response to our prayers—were already murdered in the womb.

While you think about that, child of God, let me share this wonderful truth from the Word that applies to you and me, His children:

Ephesians 1:3
Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ,

Ephesians 1:4
just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. In love…

([That was] before your or my mother and father or their ancestors—or you or I, or all the aborted babies—were even created.)

I close this writing to you by once again pointing you to how Jesus’ great sacrifice on Golgotha—through His indescribably great, loving grace—takes form in your and my life.

It does not matter how great, or what descriptive word you use to describe the sin in your life.

Read what our Lord says—and it applies to whatever you have done in your life.
Yes, even if you’ve had an abortion, or were in some way part of an abortion someone else underwent:

1 John 1:9
If we freely admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing—everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].

Now remember—

What I just quoted, and what I’m about to quote next, applies to all sin, except the sin against the Holy Spirit:

Hebrews 10:17
“And their sins and their lawless acts I will remember no more [no longer holding their sins against them].”

This promise applies to every person who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and Redeemer.

Now, while I’ve mentioned this, I want to ask you:

Have you, who are reading this, already accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Redeemer?

Remember, if you’re even uncertain whether you’ve accepted Jesus as your Savior and Redeemer—then you probably haven’t truly accepted Him yet.

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Savior and Redeemer, and you want to be one of His followers, and have the wonderful certainty that you are now part of His family—of whom the Word says:

Romans 8:28–30
28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.
29 For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers.
30 And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified [declared free of the guilt of sin]; and those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity].

Then, right now, just where you’re sitting and reading, you can say this sincerely to our Lord—knowing that He sees your heart and knows that you truly mean it:

“Lord, I know that without You in my life, I am on my way to hell, and that if You were to take me from this life now, I would spend eternity in hell.

I open my heart to You.

Help me to follow You, so I may spend eternity with You.”

Now, find a Christian congregation that preaches the entire Bible as the infallible Word of our Lord.

Attend their services.

Arrange with the pastor for further guidance, and get involved in the activities of the church.

Keep your eyes on Jesus by regularly speaking with our Lord in prayer and studying His Word—and you are on your way to Heaven.

Sakkie

Jude 1:24-25 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
