THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IS ABOVE ALL OTHER RELIGIONS

Someone asked me if I would mind highlighting the differences between our Christian religion and the Hindu religion which bring me to the infallible truth that the Christian Religion is above all other religions.
In short I want to share with you what I know regarding the differences, but I would really like to share something else of great importance.
Firstly, about the Hindu religion:
The Hindu religion is such a complex religion, that it is anyway completely impossible for me, especially with my limited understanding thereof, to put in a single writing and highlight all the differences because I only have a superficial knowledge of that religion. In actual fact, I do not really have the time or energy to spend on other religions.
I feel the same way as my great hero Paul about this matter.
Except for this time, or when I can enlighten a little, generally my viewpoint is:
1 COR 2:2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
Therefore, I will name just two differences between the Christian and Hindu religions, in my opinion that are so far apart from each other, almost as wide as the east from the west.
The first one I want to mention is re-incarnation.
The English Oxford Dictionary defines reincarnation as follows:
1. The rebirth of a soul in another body.
2. A person or animal in which a particular soul is believed to have been reborn.
In my layman’s language: To die and become alive again in another form and to die again and again become alive in another form. I almost wrote ‘and it goes on for eternity.”
And there is their ‘Polytheism’ (the belief or worship of more than one god).
There is, as I see it, an immense number of different gods – Which on its own will lead to a multitude of problems.
As an example, what is acceptable to one god, is not necessarily acceptable to another god.
I came across this one example during my investigation:
It is acceptable to sacrifice your child to the god ‘kali’, but it is not acceptable to some of the other gods.
So it can happen that you will make one god smiling and another god, at the same time, angry.
Now, to what I really wanted to share with you, namely that which makes the Gospel of Jesus Christ so unique, so absolutely one of a kind, when it comes to worship.
Not everyone knows this but there is, as an example, no other religion which has so many credible historical documents that gives credibility to other religions, as that of Christianity.
Then, in my opinion, there is no other religion that has so many prophecies that have been fulfilled and even more, that has been fulfilled precisely to the letter.
I did not personally count the number of prophecies in the Word myself, but according to some great theologians there are hundreds, of which have already come to fruition.
To keep the length of this writing to a manageable length, I am only going to share with you three that have been fore filled – One from each of the Gospels.
One day a prophet stood up and he started prophesying:
JER 31:15 This is what the Lord says: “A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.”
Hundreds of years later the prophecy is fulfilled:
MAT 2:16-18
16 When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi.
17 Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:
18 “A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.”
At another occasion a prophet stood up and prophesied:
ISA 53:12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Hundreds of years later this prophecy was forefilled:
MARK 15:27 And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left.
MARK 15:28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And He was numbered with the transgressors. (KJV)
At an occasion king David wrote a Psalm in which he prophesied:
PSALM 22:17-19
17 All my bones are on display;
people stare and gloat over me.
18 They divide my clothes among them
and cast lots for my garment.
19 But you, Lord, do not be far from me.
You are my strength; come quickly to help me.
Hundreds of years later, the prophecy is fulfilled:
JOHN 19:23 When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.
JOHN 19:24 “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.” This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said, “They divided my clothes among them. and cast lots for my garment.” So this is what the soldiers did.
For me personally, if someone asks me, what makes the Gospel that I preach more different from the other religions, I generally use the following two examples which are not from the Bible as the majority of people who ask me this question, do not believe the truthfulness of the Bible anyway
The first of the examples, which is not out of the Bible, in Christianity which makes it totally different from any other religion is:
The Gospel that I preach, as a result of the mercy/grace which was given to me by our Lord, is the only Gospel, where man did not first reach out to God, but through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, God reached out to man and He still does it today. He did then and He still stretches with both His arms first to us today in great wonderful Godly love.
GAL 4:4 But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, …
JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
JOHN 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.JOHN 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—
JOHN 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
My second example outside the Bible that is totally different between Christianity and all other religions is as follows:
Just the name of JESUS CHRIST, gives me access to God and satan knows this very, very well.
Therefor then also, that satan managed to get it right, that the Christian religion, is the only religion of all the religions in the whole world, where the Redeemer and Saviour’s Name, is the only Name through which people can be saved and which the people must use, if he/she truly wants to communicate with God, that it is also used by people as a ‘swear/curse word’.
Why did satan expose (accomplished) it that way?
Because satan knows all too well, that it is completely impossible for a person, to truly communicate with God, if you have firstly demonstrated to God, that you have so little respect for His Son’s name, that it means nothing to you, by using Jesus’s Name as a ‘swear/curse word’ or that you also tolerate, that people around you, or the programs, movies etc., that you listen to, or watch and are able to still enjoy them.
So satan managed to get it right that people, so many people which follow the Christian religion, in actual fact I should say, especially people, who follow the Christian religion, despite that which satan has made them believe, they are not communicating with our Lord.
The true Christian knows, that he/she can do nothing in his/her Christian life if he/she does not do it in the Name of Jesus Christ.
COL 3:17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him
How glorious for the true Christian, because he/she knows:
ACTS 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
How could it be otherwise, because God became man, as the Scripture says:
JOHN 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
JOHN 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
This God who became man, spoke these Godly words:
JOHN 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
I think about all these things and I am jubilant in my soul, because I have this glorious knowledge:
PHIL 2:9-11
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
If you feel, after reading this writing, that things between you and our Lord are not what they are meant to be –
Or, if you know that there has never been a loving relationship between you and Jesus, then my friend, again God reaches out to the people and this time personally to you.
REV 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
REV 3:21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
If you have become lost and you want to make a new commitment to our Lord, or if you want to surrender your heart to Jesus for the first time, then say it to Him right now wherever you are.
Then as a matter of urgency, seek out a Christian congregation that testifies that the whole Bible is the unquestionable words of our Lord.
Then go to one of their services, meet the minister or pastor and make an appointment so that you can receive further guidance.
Greetings,
Sakkie
