HOW WE REASON ABOUT SIN NOT BEING SIN

Translated from Afrikaans: "Hoe ons redeneer om sonde soms nie meer sonde te maak nie"

Someone wrote the following.
One time a woman asked me: “Is it also prostitution if a person has sexual intercourse with one man but you are not married. It is not that she has sex with every man she meets. I know they call it whoring if you go from one man to another and with prostitution you earn money but not whoring.”
When I read this writing to you, I had to smile about how we rationalise/debate around sin, even if it is seldom, what to classify as sin.
First, according to the dictionary, I see that synonyms for an 'adulteress/whore' is also a 'prostitute'
I want to answer this as I understand it personally through the Word.
For me the first fact is about sex, it is –
God is the Designer and Creator of sex.
For me another fact is –
Concerning people God had designed sex, that sex should just take place strictly between a man and a woman.
That is why our Lord created men’s and woman’s bodies in that way, that they are in absolute harmony so that they can experience the wonderfulness thereof.
Then, as I understand the Word, concerning people our Lord made sex in particular just for marriage.
On what to I base this statement of mine?
We read:
GEN 2:24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
This, GEN 2:24 … and they become one flesh.” as my great hero Paul, who our Lord allowed to write such a large part of the New Testament, and I understand the Word, that also certainly is pertaining to sex.
1 COR 6:16 “Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”
Then also:
One of the greatest reasons why our Lord created sex was for the sake of reproduction.
GEN 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
GEN 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
As I understand the Word, our Lord’s idea is that part of sex is to have children in a family tie.
Before I make my next statement, just the following:
The writers that our Lord used to bring the Word/Bible into existence were just instruments in His hand. So to say the pens He wrote with.
Any person who proclaim this statement, which is being used by so many people nowadays and then these people call themselves ministers, pastors etc.- saying the Word that was written for our teaching is no longer relevant today because “times have changed” in my opinion to put it very gently, place a limit on our Lord’s All-knowingness.
Well now –
If our Lord meant sex strictly for inside marriage –
What did He have His writers write?
How does our Lord see sex outside marriage?
1 COR 7:1 Now for the matters you wrote about: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.”
1 COR 7:2 But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.
As I understand, our Lord says in His Word amongst other things –
Sex must be within a marriage otherwise it is indecent/immoral/whoring.
The King James Version (KJV) states it as follows:
1 COR 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
To tell the truth, it looks to me our Lord does not even like that a Christian man outside of a marriage should be ‘touchy-feely’[a].
(King James Version KJV)
1 COR 7:1 … It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
As I personally understand the Word, even if you call it prostitution, adultery, or sex with one partner, our Lord calls sex outside of marriage; whoring.
He created sex for marriage and He leaves me in no doubt about what he expects of me concerning this matter.
HEB13:4 Marriage should be honoured by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
Greetings,
Sakkie
