THERE IS NOW NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS

Translated from Afrikaans: Vir hulle wat aan Christus Jesus verbind is, is die oordeel nou heeltemal weggeneem.

Someone wrote to me and asked the following:
“If we are going to judge Israel, then who will judge us?”
In this writing I am speaking about people who are not just Christians in name only.
Let me put it this way –
According to statistics, if I remember it correctly, 80% of all people in South Africa say that they are Christians.
The people that I am writing on now, unfortunately only make up a very small part of that 80%.
I am talking about people who have truly accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
I want to begin by saying:
Do you know that we will have a ‘godly’ status, so much so, that we will be at the same level as Jesus:
1 JOHN 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
He will be our oldest Brother.
ROM 8:29 For those God foreknew (this is you and me) he also predestined (that is us) to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
Therefore, we will not only judge Israel, but as brother and sisters of Jesus Christ, our oldest Brother, before which all the world will kneel and confess that He is the Lord:
PHI 2:9-11
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
ROM 14:11 It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.”
Yes, together with Jesus we will judge the whole world.
1 COR 6:2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world?…
We are not only going to judge Israel and the whole world, but we will also judge the angels:
1 COR 6:3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? …
How this will actually work, I do not know but I also will not tax my brain too hard about this. It is written in our Lord’s Word and it is therefore in our Lord’s control and it is sufficient for me.
Returning to the question that I was asked:
“Who are going to judge our Lord’s true children?”
Well the glorious short answer is naturally:
No-one.
JOHN 3:18 Whoever believes in him (this is Jesus Christ) is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
ROM 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
There will be, as I have shown you, no condemnation or judgement awaiting us.
What will certainly happen to us is that we will be judged through our loving Lord.
I explain this in more depth in a writing from the Word, with the title being “The third heaven and our reward”, which I will send to you on request thereof.
For now I close this writing off with the judgement awaiting you and me that we must bear in mind with the following from the Word:
1 CORINTHIANS 3:10-15
10 … But each one should build with care.
11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,
13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.
14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.
15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.
Therefore, come let you and I live our lives to the best of our abilities to the fullest for our Lord. Because how wonderful, that this is written in the Word:
REV 22:12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.
REV 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
I began this writing to you by mentioning that I am speaking about a very small percentage of people within Christianity.
The certainty that you and I must have today within our hearts, is whether we fall into this small group of people of which you have just read about.
A good place to start with, is to contemplate the following which Jesus said:
MATTHEW 7:16-20
16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
True and False Disciples
MAT 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Greetings,
Sakkie
