ARE YOU READY FOR JESUS’ SECOND COMING?

ARE YOU READY FOR JESUS’ SECOND COMING?

Sakkie Parsons

I gladly share the following from our Lord’s precious Word that came to me here at the beginning of 2026. I share it with you—you who truly confess that Jesus, whose coming from heaven to earth we have celebrated over the past few days, also speaks to us through these passages of the Word.

May it fully take shape in our lives, and may we live it out in this way until our Lord comes to fetch us.

If, in 2026, satan tries to discourage you, then remember the very first message that was proclaimed after Jesus’ coming to the earth, and whom our Lord sent to proclaim that message to us—and may it then be a great comfort to you:

LUKE 2:13-14
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

14 Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth, (also for you and your loved ones), goodwill toward men!

May you always remember in 2026 that Jesus, your Redeemer and Savior, came exactly as our Lord had caused it to be prophesied many times, hundreds of years apart, before His coming:

JOHN 1:14
And the Word (that is Jesus Christ) became flesh and dwelt among us—and we beheld His glory (that is Jesus Christ), glory as of the Only Begotten from the Father—full of grace and truth. (That is Jesus Christ)

1 JOHN 4:14–16
14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son (that is Jesus) as Savior of the world.
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God—God abides in him, and he in God.
16 And we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God (Jesus Christ through His Holy Spirit) abides in him.

Then Jesus told us many times in advance that He would be brutally murdered—but that He would also destroy death by rising on the third day and walking out of the grave.

I share one example with you:

LUKE 18:31–33
31 Then He (that is Jesus) took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be fulfilled.
32 For He will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon.
33 And after they have scourged Him, they will kill Him; and on the third day He will rise again.”

Yes! Praise the name of our Lord!

Now death is dead for all Christians who have truly accepted Jesus as their Redeemer and Savior.

1 COR 15:53–55
53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 And when this perishable has put on the imperishable, and this mortal has put on immortality, then the saying that is written will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 “O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?”

Jesus says to you and to me, who have accepted Him as our Redeemer and Savior:

JOHN 8:51
Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word (that is what we read in the Word/Bible), he shall never see death for eternity.

Listen—
All the prophecies concerning Jesus have, to date, been fulfilled.
What do you think the chances are that this next prophecy about Jesus—prophesied not by people, but by angels, two of them—will also be fulfilled?

ACTS 1:10
And while they were gazing intently into heaven as He went, behold, two men stood by them in white clothing,
ACTS 1:11
who said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw Him go into heaven.”

How wonderful!

Angels from heaven proclaimed Jesus’ first message of peace to you and to me shortly after His arrival on earth—and angels also proclaimed the first message/prophecy about Him shortly after His ascension into heaven.

I therefore conclude this writing to you with the following words and question of Jesus, asked again today to you who have read this far:

JOHN 11:26
And everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?

May 2026 be a wonderful, blessed year for you.

Greetings,

Sakkie
