BLOODLINE CURSES – IF THE SON OF GOD SETS YOU FREE, THEN YOU WILL BE TRULY FREE

Someone wrote to me the following:
"I would like to know more about bloodline curses and how it can be broken."
I will now share my personal view with you regarding these kinds of curses, or any other type of curse including everyone and everything that goes with it.
My view is especially against those people, as you will probably notice, which I call charlatans or scammers. In my opinion it’s these people who go around by gaining money and sensation from Christians left and right by supposedly freeing them from one or the other curse.
A Christian asked me this question – therefore remember if you are reading this – that I am referring to Christians.
In other words, I am speaking with people who the Word of God describes as brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.
I know I have written on this subject before, but I think from time to time questions regarding this matter arise, like now, because there are always sensationalists, money hunters, charlatans or scammers. Then in some cases the ignorant, who involves themselves in this kind of garbage, severely upsets and confuses our Lord's children because according to these exploiters, a child of God would then be set free from whatever the so-called problem was.
Remember, I repeat, I am writing to Christians, blood-washed children of God.
How is it possible that you, a new creation of God can have a curse on you?
2COR 5:17 “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
Now, if for a moment I might use my great hero Paul's way of writing:
Now I speak as a fool, yes, I speak as one that is mad in his foolishness:
What, then, will we say about all these things?
2COR 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away, (How utterly foolish to think: that is except for the curses for which Christ's blood was not strong enough at Calvary) behold, all things have become new. (How utterly foolish to think: this is now except for the curses for which Christ's blood at Calvary was not strong enough.)
How incredibly foolish to even think in that direction!
While I am writing this to you, I get tears in my eyes just thinking about these people who call themselves Christians who go around preaching these terrible obscenities about my Jesus. That the sacrifice He offered on Golgotha and the fact that Christ's Spirit resides in us, is not enough protection against curses and still have themselves cleansed from one or other nonsense.
In my opinion, people who associate with these kinds of obscenities are simply just evil, evil, evil.
If anyone comes to you and wants to make you, a child of God, understand that you have one or another curse and they want to perform their gobbledygook which they call gospel, remember:
1 JOH 4:4 “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.”
1 JOH 4:5 “Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them.”
The people who walk around with this kind of garbage and call it gospel, is in my opinion in the same category as Matthew 24:24 which Jesus spoke about:
MAT 24:24 “For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chose ones.”
MAT 24:25 “See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.”
The following in the Word of God can also apply to these people according to my view:
2 PETER 2:19-22
19 “They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you.”
20 “And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before.”
21 “It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life.”
22 “They prove the truth of this proverb: “A dog returns to its vomit.” And another says, “A washed pig returns to the mud.”
These people are overwhelmed and enslaved by the money and sensation their own so-called liberation ministry arouses.
Listen, you have the Holy Spirit living in you.
You don’t need these people and their nonsense in your life.
All you require from your side, so to speak, is obedience.
JOH 10:27 “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me,”
JOH 10:28 “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from Me,”
Listen child of God:
HEB 2:11-15
11 “So now Jesus and the ones He makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them His brothers and sisters.”
12 “For He said to God, “I will proclaim Your Name to My brothers and sisters. I will praise You among Your assembled people.”
13 “He also said, “I will put My trust in Him,” that is, “I and the children God has given Me.”
14 “Because God’s children are human beings – made of flesh and blood – the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could He die, and only by dying could He break the power of the devil, who had the power over death.”
15 “Only in this way could He set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.”
Why, child of God, would you worry about a supposed curse on you!! If you don’t even have to fear death!!!
Stay away from these people, their DVDs, CDs and whatever else they are spreading, while remembering in your heart:
JOHN 8:36 “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”
I use myself as an example of what I mean; that a child of our Lord doesn’t need to be made free from something by whoever they want to call themselves but that it is rather a matter of obedience towards the Spirit of God within him/her.
Upon my repentance, I smoked.
Nobody needed to free me from smoking. My loved ones prayed to God with me for strength and obedience to resist satan. I realized what was expected of me and with the regular prayers of my loved ones I discarded the cigarettes out of obedience.
1 PET 2:11 “Dear friends, I warn you as “temporary residents and foreigners” to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls.”
1 PET 2:12 “Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbours. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honourable behaviour, and they will give honour to God when He judges the world.”JAM 4:7 “So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Oh, how wonderful as a child of our Lord to shout this out in jubilation!
PSM 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation – so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?”
Yes! I walk to the best of my ability in obedience through the ways of our Lord. As I remember with a wondrous feeling in my heart:
JOH 8:36 “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”
Remember child of God and remind yourself every time when people with these kinds of garbage come to you:
Any curse or whatever they say you have or whatever they call it, which they say came upon you after your repentance, firstly had to pass by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ living in you and anything that remained after your true repentance, like my smoking that was still in me, the Holy Spirit will help you get rid of it.
Surely no curse of whatever nature can still remain on you, no matter how they want to portray it to you.
People obviously can pray with you for deliverance from e.g. smoking or a disease – but curses, other spirits etc., will not be allowed by Jesus' Spirit to share a home together with Him.
Oh, now coming into my heart with glorious nostalgia is this old chorus, we sang so many times years ago:
I'm free, free, free.
Christ set me free.
Once I was blind but now I can see.
Because I am free, free, free.
