THE EVIL SPIRITS LOOKING FOR A HOME

Someone asked me the following which I share with you:
This morning I read Matthew 8:28 to 34 where the demons or devils beg Jesus to send them into the pigs. Now my question is: Why would they want to go into the pigs and why did they rush into the sea and all the pigs have drowned? All the pigs are now dead but where are all the demons that were in the pigs?
Before I share my answer with you, just the following of interest:
Here is a very great truth in this section that many people miss when they read it and I want to show it to you at the beginning so that you can think it over.
It is sad that there are many followers of Jesus today who have less faith in Jesus as for example satan's angels.
Let me show you what I mean:
MAT 8:31 And the demons begged him, saying, "If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of pigs."
MAT 8:32 And he said to them, "Go." So they came out and went into the pigs, and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters.
Can you see it?
They, the evil spirits, believed that Jesus can do what they asked Him and when Jesus told them to go – they obeyed without doubt.
How many of us really believe every time we ask Jesus in prayer without doubting afterwards and then sometimes, we even do not truly believe that He will answer our prayers according to His will.
Another important point is the fact that JESUS has full control and power and authority over the demons.
Back to the question to me, and we started with:
"Why would they want to go into the pigs?"
As I understand the Word, satan's angels or evil spirits cannot function, or function properly if they are not in 'a body of a man' or otherwise, as in this case a 'body of an animal.’
This is why we also eventually fight/wrestling not against people but against satan's evil spirits/angels in the sky, who found an opportunity to get a resting place in a person.
EPH 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
If they have not preferable made themselves at rest in a person, they experience their environment in the spiritual world as very unpleasant:
MAT 12:43-45
43 "When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. (A way to describe their unpleasant environment in the spirit world).
44 Then it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order.
45 Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, (which are also in search in their unpleasant circumstances for a person in whom they can find rest and does not find it) and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation." (Therefore, the world just becomes more and more evil).
So, why did they want to go into the pigs?
My answer, as I see it, is because they had no other option.
They were many and there were not so many people in their immediate environment and those people that were there, were not accessible for them and they didn’t want to find themselves in the old unpleasant environment in the spiritual world where they had to search all over again for a resting place.
Now why did the pigs rush into the sea?
Well, my personal thought is that animals' brains are just not capable of, to give my description, ‘to handle that sort of power’.
Also remember that satan and his angels were once upon a time, inhabitants of heaven and they are therefore, to put it that way, heavenly beings.
Pigs, other than people, can therefore not properly accommodate evil spirits. However, we that are in our bodies are also, so to say, heavenly creatures:
GEN 2:7 then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, (from God, from heaven) and the man became a living creature.
Therefore, you and I, the man in our body, to put it that way, have a divine Godly image.
GEN 1:27 So God created man in his own image (A Godly appearance) , in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Into His divine image)
Therefore, all the pigs; because they are different than mankind – irrational animals – dashed into the sea and drowned. They all died.
So, where did all those evil spirits go to when all those pigs have drowned?
Well, it's easy.
They are not dead, simply because they cannot drown.
They are back in that very unpleasant spirit world / environment again, where they really didn't want to be – and are eagerly looking for a human being in whom they can make their resting place.
MAT 12:43-45

So also will it be with this evil generation." (therefore, the world just become more and more evil).
Just for the interest:
For me personally, what happened here is also a proof that satan and his angels are not able to see into the future as our Lord, otherwise they would have realized the fatality of what they have asked for.
Now I speak with all who are reading, which have not believed and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord, Redeemer and Saviour and also with all those who are not sure whether they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, because if you are not sure whether you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, then you have still not really believed and surrendered to Jesus as your Lord and your God.
In my opinion, the most dangerous circumstances to be in today are the following:
To be full of religion – but entirely without God.
To have Jesus in your head – but not in your heart.
To be full of Christian flare – but do not have Christ's Holy Spirit resident in your heart.
If you have read up to here and you wonder if you might be in one of the above categories and you have never in sincerity asked Jesus to be part of your life – in other words, you know you never really invited Him in your life and you feel that you need to do it now – then it is because you now hear His Holy Spirit talks to you in your inner being.
Then the following is what happens in your life today:
You hear Jesus ' voice inside of you that says:
REV 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
REV 3:21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
Do you want to make use of this opportunity, if you have never done so before, and with full sincerity answer to Jesus’ call with this short prayer?
"Lord, I hear Your voice in my heart and I receive You to today as my Lord and Saviour."
Now you look for a church that accepts the entire Bible as the true Word of God and you make an appointment with the pastor/leader of that congregation to further guide you in how to get your personal loving relationship with Jesus and to grow closer to Him and you start by getting involved in the congregation and their work for our Lord.
If you already belong to a church, but you now for the first time make a full surrender to Jesus, then make an appointment with your pastor/leader for further guidance in growing closer to Him in your loving relationship with Jesus and you start by getting involved in the congregation and their work for our Lord.
