GOD IS LOVE ITSELF

Recently I read the saying that we do not always realise what it means when somebody says that they are praying for you.
Then the person mentioned:
“Just think about it – The Person to whom he/she is going to talk to in your regard, is the Person who created the whole universe and He is keeping it all – including you – in the palm of His hand.”
How wonderful to know that this great Almighty God is not only a God of love but He is Love itself:
1JOHN 4:8-10
8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
How wonderful it is to know that whatsoever deceptions satan wants to tell us:
JESUS who hung on the Cross with His great divine love to get you and me to be with Him in heaven, said the following – and I want to encourage you to remember it at all times –
Remember the first part, but I want your focus on the follow-up verses:
MAT 10:28-31
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Now the following which I especially want you to remember:
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.
30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
When we look at our circumstances, we realize once again:
ISA 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
With this in my mind – how wonderful to remember!
PSM 139:1-6
1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.
All you and I have to do is to keep our eyes on Jesus in faith because –
Our God is not only a God of love but – HE IS LOVE ITSELF.
