MY ANSWER TO THE LIE – PART 1

MY ANSWER TO THE LIE  – Part 1

Sakkie Parsons

Here is my first of two writings in answer to the deceitful lie which proclaims that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a myth.

As far as my knowledge is concerned, all the people who participated in the writing and first preaching of this Gospel suffered tremendous hardships and almost all them paid with their lives for what they proclaimed. That – while they could only merge quietly in to obscurity after the crucifixion.
According to my knowledge, the only person who died a natural death was John and he had a threatening and very tough time – Especially when he was a prisoner on Patmos, where our Lord also gave him the book of Revelation.

Think about this –
In your opinion, would you or any other person act as follows:
Will you go out of your way after the humiliation, maltreatment and crucifixion of your Leader, to be noticed, while telling anyone who wants to listen a lie, what you know can kill you?

Will you help to proclaim a lie, which brings you nothing but hardship?

Will you keep up with that lie although you are threatened with a horrible death because you believe and proclaim this lie?
Will you continue with that lie until they do what they said they are going to do, even though there is a real danger that one of the other conspirators will break under pressure and label you as a false witness and make your cruel death completely useless?

Well, that's exactly the ridiculous insanity of those who claim that the gospel of Jesus Christ is false and they want someone like you and me who have a common sense, to believe their misconception and false proclamations.

For if the Gospel of Jesus Christ is false, that's exactly what had to happen.
But how odd and ridiculous this is you have read now and what they want us to believe – is not the end!

Think about this:
Remember, we are expected to believe that a lot of men and women, most until death, acted without exception, as I ask you now:
Would you still add, with all you have now read all through the lie that you and your fellow followers, behaved like cowards? In that sense, when you had to stand by your Leader, you were the fleeting and weak who distanced yourself from Him.

Yes, will you really to the point that they cruelly kill you, stand to the trueness of the lie, which includes how cowardly, little faith and pathetic followers you and all your fellow conspirators of your Leader have been?

As far as I'm concerned, only someone who has no knowledge of human nature can believe such a ridiculous story but because it's not a lie but literally the divine truth, it's exactly what His followers preached and did.

Not only did it happen accordingly, but without the luxury of e-mail and cell phones so that they could support each other after they were chased across the world and some of them probably never seen each other again, they all until death, even to the most cruel killing you can imagine, told the same story and also without fear that one of the other followers coming up with another story – Because you see the simple fact was, there was no other story!

Jesus’ disciples told the story with childlike honesty that in spite of what they have seen and experienced, they had little faith. They spoke frankly and at no point tried to conceal their actions.
So much so that they even tell us that they acted so cowardly that one of them flew leaving his clothes behind.

How did these ordinary people – people like you and me – changed so radically?

I see it like this:
One can say their newborn and renewed life started at the Cross, just like mine.

There, their Leader is nailed and He says:

JOHN 19:30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, "It is finished," and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

There they stood and because they did not know at that moment what you and I know today, they looked dismayed and in desperation to a dead body.
Then two days later, some of them came to His grave and what did they hear and experience?

LUKE 24:2-7
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb,
3  but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4  While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel.
5  And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?
6  He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee,
7  that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise."

After a while later, they got out of their boat and see, He who was nailed to the Cross, made a fire and prepared breakfast for them.

JOH 21:9 When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire in place, with fish laid out on it, and bread.

JOH 21:10 Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish that you have just caught."

Then later, He stood before them, and He said to them:

ACTS 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Then they also experienced His ascension. They stand and watched how the Father, so to speak, put His arm around His Son and takes Him to heaven

ACTS 1:9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.

Of course! Then nothing could stop them!
In my follow-up writing I share with you about one of the greatest lies, but at the same time it is also one of the worst lies that were ever told.

Greetings,
Sakkie
